It was restored approximately 15 years ago, where it had an acid dip, bare shell restoration and all floors and sills were replaced with new panels and fitted new fibreglass arches to FIA spec. The owner even went to the Alfa museum in Italy and measured the pop rivet gaps to make sure they were to spec as they were in period. As the vehicle is a Group 2 period car it was allowed to be fitted with fibreglass doors, boot and bonnet.
It was painted by the superb Normandales in Daventry and the roll cage is made from T45 by Custom Cages. There is also a heated front screen installed.
