A Busy Year in Racing

Just when you though things couldn't get any faster...

Just when you thought things couldn’t get any faster, they did. This year’s top races had some incredible results, speeds that not even the greatest drivers could have hoped for in the past.

The second generation Aston Martin Vanquish cleverly balanced the firm’s twin heritage strands: brutally quick GT car and nimble sports machine. Borrowing style from the One-77 and equipped with carbon fibre bodywork and the firm’s sinuous 6-litre V12, this was a hand-built GT unlike anything from Porsche or Ferrari.

One of only 272 examples ever produced and a car that was delivered new to a then current Formula One driver. This particular example boasts just 9,215 km and very few owners from new but all prominent collectors. Offered for sale complete with its Ferrari ‘Red Book’ Classiche certification, its original handbooks including its service/warranty supplement (which is something that is not often seen with examples today) plus its spare wheel, tool kit and a dedicated history file.
